Beograd, Serbia
The University of Belgrade is the oldest university in Serbia. It is a public university consisting of about 75,000 students. There are 31 different programs to study and some of them include: 
  • Chemistry
  • Civil Engineering
  • Biology
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Physics
  • Law
  • Technical Sciences
  • Architecture
  • Mathematics
and many more.
There are also many research opportunities within departments for students to take part in while they are studying here. 

Free Time
Students enjoy many activities during their free time and take advantage of the opportunities that surround the city. There are 16 sports centers, 7 sports halls, 7 stadiums and 6 swimming pools throughout the city. Ada Ciganlija is an island about 4 km away from the city that holds a lot of enjoyment for students. There are sandy beaches and lots of water that students like to enjoy swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and many more water activities. The island also has more than 50 sports fields that students enjoy playing soccer, volleyball, basketball, rugby, and hockey. 
There are also many other places that students enjoy spending time like the The Belgrade Fortress, a museum that shows all the history of Belgrade, and the Garden of Hope Zoo. 




Housing
There are 11 student dormitories for students to live in. However, there is an application to live in these dorms. This application will be released in November. The price range is from 70-90 euros a month. The student dorms are vibrant places where students cans study, eat, meet new people, and interact with many people.
