The University of Utrecht
Utrecht is a city with the population of about 345,000 people. The University of Utrecht has an approximate student population of 30,000. The University has a lot to offer students who attend here. There are various activities on campus and off-campus that students enjoy being apart of. There are over 150 student organizations to take part in. Some of these organizations are for hobbies and interests, social associations, sports clubs and orchestras. Students can also be apart of the student government. There is currently no housing options available for students on campus. However, students can find apartments or studios in town to rent monthly. Because housing in Utrecht is so limited, the university pairs with a housing company to place you in a housing option that fits your needs. The registration for housing opens 4 months prior to the upcoming semester. It is encouraged that students sign up as quickly as possible in order to get the accommodation that they want. The housing information will be sent as soon as the student is accepted into the university.
